Montorgueil, a natural mound and where, according to 16 century chronicles, you had a good view over the capital, is still today one of the most lively streets in Paris. Nowadays I can assure you do not see further then the house opposite of you and the natural mound has obviously become a "natural flat".

Eglise Notre Dame de bonne nouvelles, on rue de la lune, holds a treasury; an alabaster statue of St Jerome; two depictions of the deposition and an 18C silk garment worn by the Abbot Edgeworth of Firmont who accompanied Louis XVI on his way to the guillotine, a part of the most violent French history.
