There is a striking, and interesting, contrast between the contemporary furniture and modern art in the lobby and corridors of Hotel Aramis and the classical and settled decoration of  the rooms. The rooms are, by the way, very, very small but also very, very lovely, all in cream and beige. 4 of the rooms have queen-size bed and 9 have a private Jacuzzi.

Hotel Aramis is on the busy Rue de Rennes that leads down to the  lovely, small St Germain des Près-church one of many wellknown landmarks in this area well-known for its narrow streets, antique shops, restaurants, cafes and Jazz-clubs. Artists and intellectuals frequented Saint Germain des Près in the post-war years but it has now turned into one of the most chic areas in Paris and houses all famous fashion labels as Valentino or Chanel.
